a) Members of the SF/NorCal Chapter Board of Governors may nominate individuals they believe merit recognition by the Board. Nominations must be submitted in writing and received in sufficient time to be considered at a Board of Governors meeting held at least one month prior to the presentation of the award.
b) The Board of Governors shall discuss the nominations at that meeting and then conduct a preliminary secret-ballot vote to determine, by majority vote, which nominees will be considered for the award.
c) The Board of Governors shall then conduct a second secret-ballot vote to select the recipient(s) of the Governors’ Service Medallion. A favorable vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the Board members present at the meeting is required for the award to be presented.
